We are very happy with our new home! We had High expectations, knowing what we wanted to achieve as part of the design of the house. Going through the wonderful sales person, Louise Randazzo, she shepherded us through the entire buying process from lot selection, working with the design center, and achieving the funding for the house. We bought the DREAM model in Canoe Creek and we couldn't be happier here. We worked with Darice in the sales office who was amazing. Although our project manger is no longer with Neal, he was fantastic to work with. We set up clear expectations from the start which was, "please communicate with us weekly and give us transparent updates" which he did and we didn't have any issues. Neal Communities cut major corners on my new Heritage home in Canoe Creek. They skipped installing roof vents to save money, leaving my attic extermely hot and my A/C unable to keep up. The roofing company quoted me $2,800 to fix what should have been done right from the start. Warranty refuses to address it, even though other neighbors have had to pay out of pocket and some found mold in their attics. Neal builds to the bare minimum code and leaves homeowners to deal with the consequences. Buyers beware.

Having wanted to purchase a home in the Lakewood Ranch Area for some time prior to retiring. I had researched & visited the area for the past 4 years. I visited many of the new communities and did background checks on the builders. When I originally started looking the Fort Hamer Bridge was not open. Therefore, Parrish, FL was not a viable choice. Once the Fort Hamer Bridge opened it only took 10 minutes to drive into Lakewood Ranch vs the 30 minutes before. Parrish is a hidden treasure. Undeveloped beautiful rural Florida. ... read more

It is a mediocre new community with narrow streets and a very basic infrustructure for residents (a pool, a pickleball, small gym, party floor). They prefer to build more boxes to maximize profits. I mean, seriously Neal? No kids' playground, no park, no fields? No colors, No benches. No walking paths? No other amusement besides the primitive pickleball? No Tennis? Not even a fun area for kids... Given that there are two dog parks adding up to the football field size? It also lacks greenery. It is new, but it's at least 5 ... read more
